Program Overview

The Nursing Assistant Program at Delano Adult School is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enter the healthcare industry. During class instruction, students will learn basic anatomy and physiology, human development, factors affecting health, basic nursing care, charting techniques, and the role and responsibility of a healthcare provider. The program offers clinical experience in a long-term care facility under the direct supervision of the instructor. During the clinical experience, students will be able to apply the skills learned in the classroom and gain practical experience working with patients.
